G.R. Claveria and Alesha Noice
G.R. Claveria - writer / producer / director / editor / shooter and executive producer G.R. Claveria was born in Chicago, IL, and raised in Downtown, L.A. His first film "Heart of Stone", received the "Bill Scott Writing Award" and "Award of Distinction" from the Los Angeles Student Film Institute in 1990. Since then he has earned over two dozen film awards, including two National Telly Awards for a short documentary examining creativity in the classroom and for writing original music for the "Loving a Child" series (public service announcements). In 2004 he earned a Senatorial Citation from Ohio Senator Tom Roberts for work on his award winning collection of short films. Claveria only recently returned to L.A. after a ten-year stay in Ohio, where he was stationed with the United States Air Force. Currently Claveria is a humanities professor in Torrance, CA. He produced, wrote and directed his first feature film “A Study in the Orientation of Han Sum,” which is set to be finished August 8, 2006, and is anticipated to be accepted in several festivals nationwide. The film is dedicated to his daugther Araya Sunshine. Alesha Noice - executive producer / writer / production manager / script supervisorAlesha Noice moved to Los Angeles from her native Montana 2005. Though her background was in theatre and writing, she has found filmmaking an exhilarating creative exercise. She co-wrote, executive produced, and was the production manager for her first film, “A Study in the Orientation of Han Sum,” due out August 8, 2006. Noice is currently also a freelance writer and Masters student at Montana State University. |
